Fox Shocks

Post by Roger D »

I'm thinking of Bilstein shocks this spring. I have them
on my '96' Dodge Cummins PU. They were a wonderful transformation in that application. I did a search on Fox shocks. I found several comments that members plan to install Fox. Can't find any reference to driving impressions before and after install. Would like to hear a Bilstein before and Fox after

I installed Bilstiens on my concourse when i first got it. I wasnt really impressed and didnt detect any real significant ride quality change, then i noticed that there was oil all over one of the front shocks which turned out to be a blown shock. I would expect this from a cheap budget replacement shock but not from Bilstiens that i paid a premium for. I changed over to the fox shocks on all four corners and never looked back. I didnt even bother attempting to get warranty on the Bilstiens i just tossed them in the garbage where they belong... IMO
