This better than a squeegee

Post by Xatlatc »

I really like my Concourse but I really don't like the wet bath. Not because I must contort into almost impossible configurations to fit and bathe inside that cute little bathroom but because of trying to dry it when finished. I've used a squeegee then pointed a small fan to finish the job. The fan also dries the wet towels quite well but it's a slow process. So I went to Wally World to purchase a deerskin or sheepskin chamois to dry the walls and floor but found The Absorber instead. Wow! This man made chamois sucks up the water better than a natural chamois by a mile. I believe it comes in two or three sizes so I bought the $10.00 size. I may have seen a television commercial for it years ago. Now after bathing I just unfold myself out of the bathroom, stand on a 'dish drying mat' in the hallway ( instead of a regular bath mat, too large and too long to dry) dry myself ( with a towel of course) then use the Absorber to wipe down the shower curtain, walls and floor. It's dry in seconds and stores in its packaging. The Absorber is spouse approved and it's not made in China. It's made in Japan. Ha. It just works.

I use "The Absorber" on the boat all the time - they're great, aren't they. (Boat has uninsulated "walls," and so there is condensation on them in the morning in cool weather.) I've also taken to using one for a bath towel when I need a compact, fast-drying one.

You must be the only person to have actually taken a shower in a little ole chinook ! :D

My biggest rant on the basic chinook concourse / premier/18+ models is how small the wetbath is !!!

I think they could have made the bathroom a good 10" to 12" inches wider with no complaints from the compromised space elsewhere !

With the Double kitchen sink plus the near useless little sink in the wet bath .???

i,m only 5 ' 10" and 160lbs and barely fit in there to take a tinkL......LoL
