Hello all,
We just recently purchased a 2003 Concourse from an estate, the rig sat outside in Maine for three years so it's in need of some love.
We are sorting out the many minor issues (112,000 miles and runs fine).
One thing that has me stumped is that I have all lights working except for the three overhead lights, two in the main living area and one smaller one near the rear entrance door.
I have checked the 15 amp fuse (second from left in fuse box located at the bottom of the sink cabinet), and changed the bulbs. Still no power.
Wondering if anyone has had this same problem or if anyone could provide some information as to what other possible causes I should consider in finding the solution to restoring power.
As I mentioned, all under cabinet lights, accent valance lights, inside cabinet lights, and exterior lights are functioning properly.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached by telephone at 207-557-1001, e-mail at
krhthiemlaw@gmail.com, here in the forum or PM me.
Thanks to any and all that can help! Kevin

My guess is that it is due to loose wiring. I am not sure about how they are connected together, but you may need to use a tone tracer to figure out where the wires goes. The loose wiring is either the last working fixture, or the first non-working fixture.
I assume you measured the voltage at the overhead light, and do not see any power.
Good luck.

I should have written this down when I was redoing my lights, but I do recall that several of those interior lights are wired together. I believe the rearmost light in my '93 had connections for the next two larger lights in them. So as chin_k said, you should try to find out if there is a loose connection at some point in the chain.
Good luck, keep us in the loop with your progress on this and the rest of the rig!

Thanks for the help, I have at the local body shop getting some peeling clear coat touched up and the front bumper repainted.
I expect to start working on the electrical issue within the next few weeks.
I have tried to post photos to this site but unable to do so, not too sure how to overcome that.
Anyways, I will definitely post results once I get into it more........

Having photo is so helpful! It works for me. Maybe file size restriction? This one below is only 34KB

Thanks, now that I am more familiar with this site I can post photos.
I purchased the 2003 Concourse XL, 112,000 miles for $14,000 from an estate.
all major components function properly, I haven't had an opportunity yet to get back to the light issue yet but I did want to post a couple of photos for posterity.............I will post "after"photos once the body shop has reinstalled the front bumper and touched up the clearcoat/ paint.
Regards, Kevin

I'm hoping so, I have already purchased (6) new tires, $1,500.00, complete new Kwikee rear power step assembly, $800.00,
estimated $1,400.00-$1,600.00 for repaint of front bumper, fog light replacement and clear coat touch up all around and will likely need (2) new house batteries. Needs new black water clean out valve and 1 1/2" pipe connecting to discharge outlet.
Then it needs some interior work, new carpets throughout (probably opting for vinyl click flooring and new OEM cab carpet, cabinet struts.
Furnace / heat pump and propane stove functioning properly. A/C unit was apparently recently serviced, rear wheel bearings , rear brakes and coach battery were replaced just before I purchased the rig.
I have yet to test the (3) holding tanks, the refrigerator, or the hot water tank.
Going into it I budgeted for somewhere around $5,000 - $6,000 in repairs and maintenance. It does run and drive very well.
I will keep updating my progress as I go.......Thanks
