Carpet Alternative for 2005 Glacier 2500LE

I'm thinking about getting rid of the original carpet in our Glacier. I've seen lots of discussions about laminate or vinyl plank flooring in the Concourse but no mention of a Glacier. I'm wondering if there would be any issues like getting scratched from the slide. Any info appreciated.

I remember reading where someone had replaced carpet with "hard" flooring in a slide Chinook (Cindy?). It was done by a pro installer. I don't remember her saying anything about scratching and that's even with an added subfloor layer (probably 1/8" luaun or the like). If I remember correctly of course.

The carpet and pad in my Concourse are pretty thick (probably over an inch taken together) so that leaves some wiggle room (even if the slide brushes the carpet it must not drag on it.. I'd imagine?).
