Yes that is my 97 side entry for sale in San Diego. I complicated things even more when I purchased a third chinook (disease) It is a 2000 with 7.3 litre diesel "fixer upper" which I decided to keep. Thus, this "minty" side entry is for sale. I am testing the market and gradually lowering the price.

Any plans to scoop up this one? An excellent candidate for conversion.
If not, can you recommend a transmission shop? Or can you do it?

I may have to go get it.
Cash burning a hole in my pocket...

This appears to be a really good candidate for a restore. A transmission replacement and freshening up, you'd probably be "in it" less than ten. Seems like good margin. I'm in Washington, so shipping it here adds quite a bit to the costs, plus I'm about to embark on building a house, so I'm kinda swamped right now, but I would take this one on if I had time and it was closer.
