The light pollution from Las Vegas can be seen way more than 50 miles away. Going east on I-15, I noticed it even before crossing the state border.

Las Vegas uses a lot of electricity that’s for sure. I’ve seen acres of solar panels in the surrounding area of Las Vegas.
Arrived at Zion today and the pictures I post will not do it justice. We were allowed to drive the scenic route in private vehicles as the shuttle busses don’t start until Saturday. Watchman Campground has paved sites and interior roads plus electric sites.

While in Zion, you should hike the "Narrows" if the water isn't too deep. It's a great adventure. Angel's Landing was pretty good too, but the chains at the top got a little hairy but still another adventure you should try. Have fun!

We walked three different hiking trails in Zion and had a blast. Didn’t do the Narrows although it would have been fun. What a nice ride from Zion down to Las Vegas. Right now we’re at the Main Street Casino RV Park in downtown Las Vegas. The plan is to stay in this area for awhile awaiting spring to arrive in California. Oh the sights you’ll see, on Fremont Street.
Hey California members, when will the weather be nice enough to visit the Sequoia National Forest, Kings Canyon and Yosemite without experiencing a lot of foul weather along the route? How would the first week of April look? Thank you in advance.

After almost one month in Las Vegas, a toilet rebuild and a new air conditioner install, it was time to hit the road again. Didn’t get very far, we stopped in Pahrump, Nevada for a night or two. Next week I hope to visit Sequoia National Forest if the weather permits. Then on to Yosemite.

Are you going to visit Death Valley on your way to Sequoia?
Love your trip photos!
